While their menu does consist primarily of crepes, you will not regret giving this unique spot a try. With its exposed brick walls and high ceilings, as well as its decadent, classic French crepes, you'll immediately feel like you've been transported to an authentic Parisian Cafe. For a traditional French crepe, try the Paris Crepe, which is loaded with Nutella, strawberries, bananas, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. If you'd prefer something savory, you can't go wrong with the Frenchie, which is another Parisian classic that comes with caramelized onions and gruyere cheese.

If you're looking to have a high-end weekend brunch, a great option would be Rye KC. Rye offers a more scaled-down menu than many local breakfast spots, only because they take a less-is-more approach to their food. This classic soul food spot has been serving breakfast favorites to the KC area since 1985. Niecie's has become a local favorite over the years due to its commitment to providing high-quality food and friendly customer service at an affordable price. While they serve up all of the breakfast favorites you'd expect (omelets, country fried steak, eggs, etc.), the real star of the show is the chicken and waffles. Their perfectly fluffy waffle and lightly battered fried chicken are the perfect brunch choice and are the reason guests have been packing this brunch spot for 40 years.
Succotash
Want to have brunch at the same spot as your favorite football player? Then Succotash is the perfect choice for you. This homey spot on Hospital Hill keeps diners coming back not only because of its excellent food but also because it is the preferred brunch spot of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. While the menu offers a wide range of delicious dishes, including pork hash, eggs Benedict, and giant pancakes, if it's your first time stopping in, consider trying the French toast that Kelce has described as being "magical".

Last (though certainly not least) on our list of must-try breakfast spots in KC is a barbeque joint near the airport known for some of the best breakfasts around. While you might not expect to find a mouthwatering breakfast spread at a BBQ joint, this place serves delicious dishes you can't find elsewhere, such as breakfast burritos and tacos piled high with pulled pork, brisket, or burnt ends. In fact, "Eat This, Not That" claims that Scott's Kitchen serves up the best breakfast in the entire state, so you should definitely put it on your must-try list.
